Outdoor Advertising Campaign for Planet Fitness

Design Objective: Design a Big Type Outdoor Ad Campaign.
Planet Fitness, located in Hampton, New Hampshire. Their mission statement is “to enhance people’s lives by providing a high-quality fitness experience in a welcoming, non-intimidating environment, which we call the Judgement Free Zone, where anyone—and we mean anyone—can feel they belong.”
The audience is Milwaukee pedestrians (on foot), who are walking by, waiting for, or riding on the Milwaukee County Transit System. The purpose of the campaign is to promote kindness and inclusion to the audience and to drive traffic to the client website.
Design Solution: The design elements include the client logo and an image of gears in the background. The design features a decorative font for the focal point copy and a slab serif font for the website. This combination of fonts will appeal to the audience because it is on brand and sends a friendly message to the audience in a bold, yet expressive way. The use of uppercase lettering is utilized to maintain consistent size and alignment throughout the page.
